The Rutledge Family Session

Did a fun photo shoot with this family in November. Their daughter wasn't feeling her absolute best, but she performed so well for me! We went to Sahuaro Ranch Park and just had a totally fun afternoon!

Jamie's Maternity Session

Last week I had the pleasure of shooting my friend Jamie. Her and her husband are expecting a baby boy this Christmas Eve. Ben [her husband] was at school so the two of us spent some time together just taking some gorgeous photos and hanging out. I really wanted to take some photos of her in Matty's nursery since she painted a mural of a tree on his wall herself. It truly was so much fun! Here are some of my favorites of the day. Enjoy!
All she's missing is the baby to put in the crib!

I really love this shot, and the fact that she painted that tree!

She painted the "M" too. And the rest of his initials are on the opposite wall.

I thought it added something extra once the two shots were together.

She's great at lounging when I need her to!

We had to grab a step stool so she could get on the counter.

Every pregnant woman needs her ice cream!

I loved both of these shots, and they look great together.

I love how happy she looks here!

Definitely in my top five for the day. Great shot!

I really liked the simplicity of this shot.

The scenery was really great for a backdrop too.

Love this one. And that bench was great.

The lighting was just beautiful.

One of my favorite shots from the entire day.

I really liked the distance view of this one.

Such a beautiful spot! And a beautiful model.

I loved this angle.
I can't wait to meet little Matthew! Hopefully I'll have photos of him soon that I can put up here as well! Christmas babies are so much fun to take pictures of. Until next time!

Thomas Family Session

For this session, I actually had the family pick out a location that was close to them, and we found a beautiful spot in Downtown Glendale. We actually shot a few different spots, all within walking distance of where we parked. I'm actually quite close with this family which made it much easier to work with them considering they have 4 boys which can be challenging, but I think that made it even more fun.
Started them out sitting on the wall.

Then I had everyone sit on the ground, it was interesting.

I love shots like this, so I had to get one of the boys!

I absolutely love how expressive these boys are.

Things started getting a little crazy as we reset for more family pictures

Both of these turned out really nice.

They had a different brick wall last year but we found a cool one and decided to use it anyway.

Love all the personality here as well.

This ended up being my favorite shot for the day.

Then we started to get silly.

There is nothing about this shot that I don't love!
Getting boys to be serious is a challenge, but so worth it.

Got some wonderful individuals of the boys and mom and dad!

Overall, a terrific shoot with the Thomas family!

Definitely a fun shoot. Had a lot of laughs, some unexpected happenings, and well, what can you expect with 4 boys! I love this family, and their shoot went extremely well! These are just a few of my favorites! We had so many more. I'm excited to take more pictures of them at some point.
